goodyear rubber company of southern california is a custom manufacturer of unique rubber products. the rancho cucamonga facility strategically located in the inland empire was built in 1961.  the company is an offshoot of the original goodyear rubber company and was actually founded in 1872 by the charles goodyear family in san francisco, but is not affiliated with goodyear tire and rubber. today, goodyear is a 150 employee company that is situated on 7 acres with over 75,000 square feet of manufacturing space, offering rubber compound mixing, calendering, extrusion, molding and roll covering capabilities as well as technical lab facilities. in short, it is a full service rubber product manufacturing operation. in addition, goodyear rubber is iso 9001-2008 certified, and is considered to be a world-class vendor.
